about

This one-time power ballad (acoustic guitar/ vocal and not much else) was written, played out, and tossed aside long before I met any of these bastards. But in the jackass way that I have, I resurrected the bitch and turned it into a great punky/ rocky tune. When doing Steve's guitar solo, I do what I can, but that mother fucker could rip. More on that talented piece of shit later, I'm so sure, mostly.

lyrics

Out on the dock, thinking of you, the love we had you said would never die
Something happened to make you change your mind
Another time, another place, and all I see is your face
So what happened to make you leave, Baby why did you have to go?
I Do What I Can to try to forget about what we once had
I can't get it off my mind- why is it so hard, so hard to say goodbye?
Rainy day, watchin' the sunrise, Whatever the hell that's supposed to mean
These times will always be there for eternity
I understand that you must go, and all I got to show for it is a
Broken Heart that calls out your name, so baby why'd you go?
Well I Do What I Can to try to forget about what we once had
I can't get it off my mind- why is it so hard, so hard to say goodbye? Woo Hoooo!
(solo, chorus, rant)
